The Governor is scheduled to sign a related statewide proclamation simultaneously, declaring that Ohio’s children have the right to play outside each day in nature, taking advantage of our state’s rich natural resources.
Recent research has shown that today’s indoor, sedentary lifestyles are harming children. Meanwhile, unstructured play in nature has been shown to make kids happier, healthier and smarter.
We invite you to support families in their outdoor exploration of XXXNAME YOUR CITYXXX and its parks, land, camps and nature centers.
